Cellars (Tin Horn)

The cellar serves as a cavity in which the well bore and well head reside. On smaller rigs, the cellar also serves as the place where the lower part of the BOP stack resides, which reduces the rig height necessary to clear the BOP stack on the top.

We drill the cellars out which dramatically decreases the disturbance of dirt around the well bore and leaves virtually no chance for the ground to settle around the cellar once the rig moves in.

Advantages of an auger drilled cellar VS dug cellar:

1.COST EFFECTIVE

2.Cleaner job site

3.No backfill dirt to settle out

4. Cleaner jobsite
